Tails with OnionShare to share files anonymously
Tails is a Linux distribution specialized in providing anonymity on the Internet and helping us navigate safely through the dark web.
Version 2.10 of Tails has included OnionShare , a software created in python that allows us to transfer files safely and anonymously under the Tor network. This helps us to be able to transfer files anonymously without having to resort to third-party services such as GoogleDrive, Dropbox, Mega etc.
The operation of OnionShare is quite simple, you just have to open the application.
drag the file you want to share, click on start sharing
Once you finish lifting the hidden service .onion, it will provide you with a link, so you can share the file using the Tor network.
Once you have the link and share it, any user through Tor can download the file anonymously.
Once the other person has downloaded the file just press Stop Sharing and turn off the service to stop sharing the file.
